December 5th, 2010, the West side of Amon G. Carter stadium was imploded. In January of 2011, the East side of the stadium was able to be demolished with excavators. The entire demolition and rebuild was completed before the football season started in fall of 2011.
Demolished the whole interior of a historical multistory hotel building for redevelopment into a mixed use space.
The Mayfair Building at The East Texas State Fair was built in 1927 as a multipurpose venue referred to as the “Opera House”. As one of the most historic buildings in the city, there was a great effort to save portions of the building for renovations. This project consisted of careful selective demolition in order to maintain the facade and integrity of the original building.
Demolished three large, steel structure buildings along with asphalt, concrete and paving. Each of the buildings were highly secured steel and concrete layered structures with quarter inch steel wrapping each building on roof level and each structural floor level. Its previous use required state of the art security and protected networks.
